// who I am
Cloud engineer. Yoga practitioner. Writer.
Built from code, breath, and curiosity.
I’m Harshitha P S — a cloud and DevOps engineer with 7+ years of experience building the infrastructure that keeps digital products running. I work across AWS, GCP, and Azure, and I spend a lot of time thinking about reliability, automation, and how to make systems that don’t need babysitting at 2am.
But that’s only part of the story.
I’ve been practising yoga for several years — Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga — and along the way it became less of a hobby and more of a foundation. Pranayama before difficult problems. Meditation in the evenings. The mat as a place where I stop optimising and just show up.
I also write. Technical posts when I have something useful to say about cloud infrastructure. Personal essays when I’m working something out. Poems when words arrive that don’t fit anywhere else.
These things aren’t separate from my engineering work. The discipline of a daily practice, the patience of long-form writing, the attention to detail in a poem — they all end up in the code.
Reliable systems are built by people who show up consistently. Not just to the terminal, but to their own maintenance. Rest is infrastructure. Clarity is a skill. The slowness that a practice builds is what makes fast, calm decisions under pressure possible.

Feel free to get in touch — I’m always happy to talk about infrastructure, yoga, or writing.
